TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Sunday, November 21
EN ROUTE

Depart from LAX to Tel Aviv, Israel. Enjoy schmoozing, movies, meals and zzzzzz's.

Day 2. Monday, November 22
ARRIVE ISRAEL

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, our representative will meet us by the luggage carousel and assist us on the way out through customs. We begin our tour in the Biblical port city of Jaffa. Strolling in the narrow streets, we visit the House of Simon the Tanner, and the site of Jonah's departure. Then we travel to our Mediterranean seaside hotel for dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 3. Tuesday, November 23
To NORTHERN ISRAEL 

Leaving the hotel after breakfast, we drive north along the famous highway, Biblically known as the "Way of the Sea". We will arrive at Caesarea, where we will explore the ruins of the ancient Roman and Crusader City, then stop at the amazing remains of the Roman Aqueduct, which has been beautifully preserved under the sand dunes for 2000 years. Continuing to Mount Carmel, we will visit Mukhraka, the site where the Prophet Elijah defeated the 450 prophets of Baal. From here, there is a breathtaking view over the whole Valley of Jezreel, better known as the Valley of Armageddon. After a Felafel lunch we continue to the famous Tel Megiddo, the archaeological mound, which inspired James Michener's book, "The Source". Here we see the remains of King Solomon's Stables, and the magnificent water tunnel. We travel to view Mount Tabor, Nazareth and Cana of Galilee, the village where Yeshua (Jesus) performed His first miracle at the wedding. Continuing north toward Haifa, the largest port city in Israel, we go through the ancient city of Acco, then explore the northern coast of Israel. Dinner and overnight in the Kibbutz Kfar Giladi.

Day 4. Wednesday, November 24
NORTHERN ISRAEL to GALILEE
Waking up to a beautiful morning we will travel through Northern Israel. Going through the Golan Heights, we will view Mount Hermon and the Syrian/Lebanese/Israeli border, visit Caesarea Philipi and the Banias, one of the water sources of the Jordan River. We arrive at our hotel on the shores of the beautiful Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at Tiberias.

Day 5. Thursday, November 25
GALILEE
Sunrise and breakfast in Galilee in the area where Yeshua (Jesus) spent 3 years of His ministry. Dedicating our time today to following the footsteps of Yeshus (Jesus), the days events include sailing in a wooden boat and enjoying a special communion service on the Sea of Galilee. Following a visit to the Alon center in Kibbutz Ginnosar, we will view the Ancient Boat from the time of Yeshua (Jesus). We visit the Mount of the Beatitudes where Yeshua (Jesus) delivered the Sermon on the Mount and continue on to see the beautiful mosaic floor at Tabgha - the site of the loaves and fishes. Then traveling around the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum, the town of Yeshua (Jesus), we walk along the ruins of this Biblical Village and see the Synagogue where Yeshua (Jesus) preached, and the house of Simon Peter's mother-in-law. We will have the famous St. Peter's fish for lunch in a restaurant by the seashore. The day is finished with a Tevilah (Baptismal) service at Yardenit, at the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 6. Friday, November 26
GALILEE to DEAD SEA

Leaving the Galilee, we'll drive south to Beit Sheaan, the largest archeological site in Israel. We will explore the ancient Roman City with its amphitheater and reconstructed streets. Continuing south through the Jordan Valley via Jericho, we will view ancient Jericho and the Mount of Temptation, then on to the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We'll travel south through the Judean wilderness to the lowest place on earth - the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight at the Dea Sea.

Day 7. Saturday, November 27
MASADA to JERUSALEM

After breakfast and a late check out, we will drive to Masada, site of the Zealot's last stand against the Romans. Originally built as a magnificent palace for Herod the Great, we will visit the bathhouse, storage rooms, and the beautifully preserved mosaics at this great fortress. Then after descending the Roman ramp, we will ascend to Jerusalem, The City of The King and celebrate The Malki-Tzedek Welcome Ceremony on Mount Scopus at the location of the Hebrew University. Motzeh Shabbat Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 8. Sunday, November 28
JERUSALEM

Beginning the morning with a magnificent view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives, we will drive down to the Kidron Valley and enter the Garden of Gethsemane. In this area are the oldest olive trees in the Holy Land, dating back to ancient times—a living witness to Yeshua's (Jesus') arrest by the Romans. We will visit the Church of All Nations. Continuing along the Kidron Valley we'll view the Tomb of Zachariah as well as the Tomb of Absalom, King David's son. Then we will enter the Old City via the Dung Gate, visit the Davidson Center, and proceed to the Western Wall—the remnant of Solomon's Temple, the holiest Jewish site—and touch the ancient stones. We will ascend the Temple Mount, go to the Pools of Bethesda, continue to the famous Tunnels from the Hashmonaim era and out to the Via Dolorosa and the Arab Market, with it's hundreds of stores selling many types of items. Then on to the Jewish Quarter, where we will see the renovated Cardo and its excavations. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9. Monday, November 29
JERUSALEM

We will see the new city of Jerusalem with the Montifiori neighborhood, Mahane Yehuda market, Mea Shearim—the Orthodox Jewish Neighborhood and more. Then we will drive to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls can be seen. We will visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial, a tribute to those who perished during the Shoah in World War II. We will complete our day with a Communion Service at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 10. Tuesday, November 30
JERUSALEM and ELA VALLEY

Today after breakfast we will plant a tree to strengthen our ties with Israel. Then on to the Ela Valley to reenact the story of David and Goliath. Continue via Beit Shemesh to Emmaus, where we will walk in the footsteps of Yeshua (Jesus). Then on to the Messianic village of Yad Hashmona. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 11. Wednesday, December 1
JERUSALEM

Visit the Pool of Siloam, the City of David, the House of Chaiaphas' where Yeshua (Jesus) was imprisoned. Then on to the Upper Room and King David's Tomb. Then we will overview Shepherd's Field and Bethlehem. In the evening we will celebrate with a Farewell Banquet. Late evening transfer to the airport for flight back to USA.

12. Thursday, December 2
RETURN TO USA

Arrive back home.
